
The Application Process
The information requested in the application below shall be used to confirm that the proposed development could not be feasible but for the DPFC’s participation and the development is in furtherance of the City of Dallas Housing Policy 2033 (DHP33), as amended, housing programs, policies, and initiatives, and is carried out pursuant to the provisions of the DPFC’s Bylaws and the Act.

Confirm Project Eligibility
Before submitting a formal application, email the Dallas PFC at [email protected] to determine if your project qualifies for our program. Our team will review the proposed project details and respond with eligibility information. If the project meets all program requirements, you can proceed with submitting a formal application and the associated fee.

Complete
the Application
Complete and submit the information requested in the application to the DPFC.
The DPFC reserves the right to reject any application that it determines to be incomplete or inaccurate.

Mail Documents

Two electronic copies of your application and all attachments should be submitted on two flash drives sealed in an envelope. Please include a check or money order payable to the Dallas Public Facility Corporation for its $5,000.00 application fee. The envelope may be mailed or delivered to:

Each document corresponding to applicable section on the flash drives should be clearly labeled to easily identify the portion of the application with which it corresponds. Excel spreadsheets may not link to external data sources, and must be unlocked so that all data, including formulas, are viewable.
Per the DPFC Bylaws approved by the Dallas City Council, all applicants are responsible for any applicable costs associated with the third-party underwriting and review of their applications regardless of the outcome of the proposed project.

Wait for an Approval
Upon receipt of a complete application, DPFC staff and outside advisors will commence underwriting the project.
The entire process, from submission of a complete application to final City Council approval, is anticipated to take 3 to 6 months. The DPFC reserves the right to amend the timeline and approval process at any time.
